4 Celebration of Peruvian Street Food (Tanta Chicago) Chef Gaston Acurio hosts an event to benefit the Pachacútec Culinary Institute in Peru, which helps underprivileged children find kitchen careers. Drink Pisco sours, nibble world-class bites, bask in the glow of your effortless good deeds. ($125) June 13
5 Chicago Food Truck Fest (South Loop) Defeating the whole concept of trucks that bring food to you, this fest is a collection of trucks that you go to. Still, should be fun. June 24-25
