3 Good Food EXPO (UIC Forum) This fair and symposium has been going strong for fourteen years, supporting small farmers and spreading the word about the best in local food, with Chicago chefs including Rick Bayless and Sarah Grueneberg. (March 23-24)
4 Wine 101 (ENO Wine Room) Learn about wine, impress your date, win friends and influence people (especially those under the influence). (March 25)
5 Uncork the Archives (Intercontinental Chicago) History, wine, live music. You couldn’t ask for more—or, if you did, it would be just greedy. ($48) (March 28)
