Windy City Smokeout
If you’re thinking of sticking your toe back into the waters of en masse dining, the Windy City Smokeout in the United Center parking lot is a good place to start a tentative reentry into dining—and even festival—society.
The Windy City Smokeout runs Thursday, July 8 to Sunday, July 11 . Tickets are on sale at windycitysmokeout.com. According to a release from the city, this barbecue bacchanal will be the first get-together to return to the roster of summer events.
High-quality Q will be offered from local vendors like Pearl’s Southern Comfort and Chicago Q, and out-of-town Q purveyors include some of the best, such as 17th Street BBQ from Murphysboro and Marion, Illinois, and Rodney Scott’s BBQ from Birmingham, Alabama. Tunes will be offered from country stylists including Darius Rucker and Dierks Bentley.
