2 Chicago Wine Fest, Fall Edition (Lincoln Park Zoo) All -day, all-night vino adventure, with tastings of premium wines, live entertainment and animals, lots of animals. (October 2)
3 A Recipe for Disaster (Petterino’s) Rick Bayless conceives an immersive theater experience about a “well-known restaurant” that goes through a series of disasters; to buoy your experiences, there will be six bite-sized tasting and three cocktail or wine samplings. (Opens October 6)
4 Chicago Beer Fest (The Field Museum) Over sixty-five breweries will offer tastes of their top brews to sip while you peruse a T. Rex named Sue and other natural wonders. (October 9)
5 Haunted Halloween Night Bar Crawl (Lincoln Park) If you go to the trouble of dressing up for Halloween, you want to show off your costume, and you can do that while walking from one watering hole to another while enjoying cocktail specials, DJs and lots of IG opportunities. (October 29)
